S.K.I.P. “Special Kids Involved Parents”

At FUNTASTICS we believe every child can benefit from a foundation of gymnastics FUNdamentals. The class will engage the children in gymnastics and basic sports activities focusing on gross and fine motor skill development. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or aide. Individuals, groups and schools welcome.

Parkour “The Art of Motion”

Parkour – ‘FreeRunning’ – is the new wave of movement using all of the abilities of the human body. Parkour focuses on practicing efficient movements to develop each athletes body and mind to be able to overcome obstacles.

Aerial Awarenes

Do you have the need to get vertical? Do you like spending your time upside down? In Funtastics Aerial Awareness class you can learn to flip and spin using our three trampolines, loose foam pit and 1,600 sq.ft. spring floor. Co-ed class for ages 11 – 20

Open Indoor Playground

All for FUN and FUN for all! FUNTASTICS will be your jungle gym while your children use our equipment (instead of your furniture!) to burn off some of their excess energy! Bring your kids, your friends and your playgroup and enjoy some time unstructured playtime together*! *Parents are invited to stay and play with their kids of all ages!
If the child is 3 years or under parents are required to stay.

Fun and Fit

Fitness can be FUN! The goal of FunFit is to encourage children ages 5 and up to develop a life long love of exercise. In FUNTASTICS FunFit class children will be introduced to a foundation of fitness including full body strength, coordination and flexibility. Parents are welcome to participate!

Jump and Core

Just what you have been waiting for – an adult fitness class at FUNTASTICS! This unique training experience will focus on full body and core strength development. We will use gymnastics specific conditioning and flexibility exercises and techniques. Come get your gymnastics body!

FUNTASTICS SAVES A BRANCH!

Funtastics now has paperless billing.  Yeah!  You will be receiving your statement via email from now on.  In the future you might even be able to manage your account at www.funtastics.org.  One can dream!  You may also at any time stop by the front office and we will be happy to assist you in printing your statement.

FUNdamental Gymnastics “Yeah for a Name”

For years now, and I am talking 13, we have been looking for the right name that encompasses our principles of our Pre School and Instructional Gymnastics Classes.  I don’t know how we can be so excited about a name but we are.  We have brainstormed many times and did not come up with a name that did our program justice.  And now we have it.  Not to laugh at ourselves but it was a word that we use daily and even the foundation for our mission statement.  I guess it just needed to be said in the right place at the right time.  FUNTASTICS is “FUNdamental”.  Everything we do at Funtastics is based off the basic, underlying, essential foundation of strength, fitness, flexibility, balance, coordination, sportsmanship and discipline.  In other words living a healthy lifestyle.  Mind, Body and Soul.  It is what we are about and why we do what we do.  This is why FUNdamental is the perfect name for our core business.  It is also nice to come to an end of a 13 year journey and can now watch it blossom from where it is to where we always knew it could go.  Thanks to Deb for saying it, Barbara E for keeping it going, all of our amazing coaches that make it special for the kids everyday, Marcia and Deb for helping take it further and you for supporting your kids through it.  We at Funtastics are sure you will see the effects of it for years to come.

MAINTENANCE WEEK A HUGE SUCCESS!!

Your coaches surely didn’t take the week off when we closed for maintenance week!

Deb and Marcia put together and implemented Funtastics new, never ending mobility testing for all Level 1 – 3 FUNdamental Gymnastics Classes.  It was a huge project and your children will love being able to give you updated progress on their gymnastics every week. Be on the look out for your child’s name on the website for progress in their skills and when they move up levels.

Donny reorganized the boy’s area, maintained the equipment and finished up many projects around the gym he has wanted to get to.

Donny also did the amazing job of dusting the trophy cabinet.  And everyone appreciates that!!!

Rachael, Lisa, Barbara D, Teri and Barbara E along with Deb and Marcia straightened, organized and cleaned into the corners of the gym and you would have to be blind not to see the difference.

Derek straightened up the outside and lobby areas and added a few bits of technology for the coaches.

Teri updated the Birthday Board.  I know all the kids are enjoying the cupcakes.

Mary decorated The Vault for the fall season (you have to check out the lighting and decor) and it is gorgeous!

In other words our goals of cleanliness and what we are able to offer our customers are being met and we so look forward to the up coming year.
